Narendra Modi family Narendra Modi was born in 17 September 1950 to a Gujarat Hindu family in Vadnagar Mehsana District Bombay state(in present day Gujarat) Shri Narendra Modi's father name damodardas mulchand Modi (1915 to 1989) and mother name heeraben Modi(born c. 1920 ). He was the third of six children in his family. as a Child he helped his father sale tea at the Vadnagar railway station and said that he later ran a tea stall with his brother near a bus stand. In his school life he is average student he has completed hit High Secondary Education in 1967 in Vadnagar.
